Corona Net was created in response to the global pandemic, and the lack of cohesive international information regarding Covid strategy, being reliably shared and stored for future reference. The primary goal of Corona Net was to establish a database of reliably sourced information detailing the policies that countries all over the world have implemented to mitigate the propagation of Corona Virus. Organizations including the WHO have since utilized our database as a reference for their policy recommendations and guidelines. My responsibility was to frequently update policies for my assigned country of Guinea Bissau as well as to facilitate communication with the secondary validators for Guinea Bissau, as well as researchers for other countries and the West Africa coordinators.
