As an intern at the Relational Coordination Research Collaborative, (RCRC) based out of Brandeis University’s Heller Graduate School for Social Policy and Management, I was tasked with creating a database that compiled about 20 years of research on the predictors, findings, and contexts for their theory of Relational Coordination (RC). RC is essentially the concept, supported by extensive empirical research, that organizations work better when they have shared goals, knowledges and interests, and it is used to improve organizations in a myriad of ways. This summer I cleaned, organized and converted the extensive research findings from an Excel document to a Filemaker database that I created located on a private server. I attended board meetings with Partners located around the world, presented updates on my work and hosted zoom calls to receive feedback. I created a web page that serves as a landing platform to host the database and am continuing work into the fall to continually update the platform with new research findings.
